During week two of Connecticut Moose baseball, the 16u army faced off against the CT Rivals. After going up big early, the Moose allowed an eight-run inning late to make the game within striking distance for the Rivals.
Thankfully, due to Drew Taylor's relief pitching in the last two and a third innings, the Moose were able to survive. Taylor's relief wasn't the only outing of the week for him.
On Sunday against the SB Tides, Taylor got the start. The 16u Moose dominated winning 10-1. Taylor went five innings allowing three hits and zero runs. He also punched out six K's on the day.
Right-handed heater machine, Drew Taylor was rolling on Sunday, just like the rest of the 16u Moose, and the entire program. The Moose are rollin. Drew Taylor is your week two pitcher of the week.
