Engle and Morro Combine For a No-Hitter to Land Them Play of The Week Honors

Engle strikes out 9. Morro deals to complete. Despite coming out with a tie Sunday morning against the SB Tides, dominant pitching from Tabor Engle and Anthony Morro gives them play of the week.

Morro strikes out the side with a pumped fastball

Right hander Tabor Engle started the game, going five innings off 70 pitches. Morro went two innings off 30 pitches. Neither pitcher gave up a single hit. A combined no-hitter out of Engle and Morro awards them play of the week. All summer, Tabor Engle had been struggling with arm injuries, but on Sunday, he looked like a different man.

No one could touch his fastball. His hanging curveball got each, and every Swanny Baseball batter crossed up. Impressive relief by Anthony Morro allowed for the Moose to come away with the tie and a no-hitter.

What a performance!
